Niksic

Niksic is city and seat of the municipality of the same name in central part of Montenegro, which covers 2.065 km² and has a population of 65.705 inhabitants. It is the second largest city in Montenegro, situated in Niksic field surrounded by mountains and artificial lakes KrupacSlano and Vrtac. 

Niksic is an industrial, educational and cultural centre of the country, recognizable for its  famous Niksic beer, and rock & roll.

There are two international airports in Montenegro:
– the Golubovci Airport in Podgorica, in the heart of the country, 52 km from Niksic,
