Savnik
Savnik is town and seat of the municipality of the same name in the northern part of Montenegro, which covers 555 km² and has a population of 2.077 inhabitants. It is situated at the confluence of the three rivers Bukovica, Bijela and Savnik, surrounded by mountains Durmitor, Vojnik and Sinjajevina.
Located at 840 meters above sea level, Savnik town is founded in 1861.
The climate is moderate mountain with little precipitation in winter and warm summer.
It is known as a place where the sun rises and sets twice a day in the days around the equinox due to its specific relief, but also for its harsh, untouched natural beauty.
There are two international airports in Montenegro:
– the Golubovci Airport in Podgorica, in the heart of the country, 106 km from Savnik,
– the Tivat Airport in Tivat, the Bay of Kotor, 146 km from Savnik,
– also, Cilipi Airport in Dubrovnik, Croatia, 163 km from Savnik.

- Durmitor National Park: a mountain range protected by UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering diverse flora, fauna, and dramatic scenery;
The Dragisnica and Komarnica Nature Park: the park covers an area of 2,994 hectares, whose relief is characterized by scattered mountain massifs, deep canyon valleys and gorges, offering visitors spectacular landscapes and numerous opportunities for exploring nature.
- Nevidio Canyon: part of the Komarnica River Canyon with a total length of 48 km, Nevidio Canyon, up to 300 m high, 4.5 km long, and 2 to 3 m wide in places, is an exceptional tourist attraction. It is one of the last conquered canyons in Europe and a top destination for canyoning.
