Ulcinj
Ulcinj is coastal town and seat of the municipality of the same name in south part of Montenegro, which covers 255 km² and has a population of 20.507 inhabitants. It is situated on the Montenegrin coast, surrounded by the hinterland with impressive mountain range Rumija, River Bojana and the sea.
Ulcinj is one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic and its long and dramatic three millennia long history can be noticed at first sight.
Ulcinj is a mosaic made of different natural characteristics, which make this town magical and attractive; the dark-blue clean sea, the green River Bojana and the island Ada on its delta, the rich lake Shas, the long-living olive grove, the beautiful Valdanos bay, the healing springs, the pine wood with its enchanting smell and the well – known sandy beaches 15 kilometers long.
There are two international airports in Montenegro:
– the Golubovci Airport in Podgorica, in the heart of the country, 72 km from Ulcinj,
– the Tivat Airport in Tivat, the Bay of Kotor, 86 km from Ulcinj,
– also, Cilipi Airport in Dubrovnik, Croatia, 156 km from Ulcinj.

- Southern Soul Festival: music festival on Ada Bojana, with a focus on soul, jazz, funk and disco music, held in late June or early July.
- Summer Stage in the Old Town: festival with diverse performances including theater, concerts, ballet, art shows, stand-up comedy, film screenings, and folklore in the Old Town, held in July/August;
- Green Culture Festival (GCF): festival focusing on sustainability, and celebrating its rich history and proximity to the Adriatic Sea, through fair of green economy, held in the September.
