1 Day

Overview

The Nature Park Piva is a region full of mountains, pastures, dense forests, streams, rivers, canyons among which is the Canyon of the River Piva with 56 manually made tunnels at a distance of 30 km and lakes among which is the largest the  Lake Piva, 45 km long and 200 m deep, formed by the construction of a hydroelectric power plant that is 240 m high.

The Canyon of the River Tara, named the “Tear of Europe”, 82 km long and 1,300 m deep, is the largest and deepest canyon in Europe and it is protected as part of the Durmitor National Park and has been in the UNESCO World Heritage Program since 1980.

In the lower part of the canyon, the starting point for rafting is Brstanovica, which is also the most attractive rafting section for both tourists and athletes. This section is approximately 15 km long and ends in Scepan Polje. Most of the rapids are located in this part of the Tara River, so this tour is often called the adrenaline tour.

With a score of 3-5 degrees on the rafting scale, it is a true paradise for adventure and nature lovers.
