Overviw
The Blue Cave is located on Lustica Peninsula in the entrance Bay of Kotor, about 6 nautical miles from Herceg Novi. Blue Cave is perhaps the most beautiful natural phenomenon on the Montenegrin coast, created at the bottom of the 100 meters cliff, as a result of a thousand years impact of sea waves, covers an area of about 300 square meters and the with a water depth of 3-4 meters. The Blue Cave has two entrances, through which it can be accessed by small boats and allows tourists to swimming, snorkelling and enjoy the rays of the sun and illuminate the water outside, creating bright shades of blue, after which the cave is named.
