Pluzine

Pluzine is town and seat of the municipality of the same name in northern part of Montenegro, which covers 854 km² and has a population of 4.272 inhabitants. It is situated on the shore of artificial lake – Piva Lake, surrounded by mountains DurmitorVolujak and Maglic. 

Situated in beautiful surroundings, with peaks of DurmitorVolujak and Ledenica in the distance, Pluzine carries the title of the youngest town in the region. Beautiful nature and cultural heritage gave the town something special. 

There are two international airports in Montenegro:
– the Golubovci Airport in Podgorica, in the heart of the country, 118 km from Pluzine,
– the Tivat Airport in Tivat, the Bay of Kotor, 167 km from Pluzine,
– also, Cilipi Airport in Dubrovnik, Croatia, 175 km from Pluzine.

  • Mountain Adventures: annual organized hikes to Veliki Vito (late June) and Prutaš (July);
  • Cultural Centre Plužine Events: The local cultural centre hosts film screenings in their newly digitized cinema and various cultural, artistic, and traditional events throughout the year.
