Overview
The Ostrog Monastery Complex is consist of Lower Monastery, built in 1650 and Upper Monastery, built in 1824 and a newly Curch of St. Martyr Stanko, built 2004 and represents the greatest sanctum in Montenegro, visited by visitors from all over the world regardless of their religion.
The Ostrog Monastery is famous Serbian Orthodox sanctuary, carved directly into a vertical cliff face on Mount Ostroska Greda, sitting 900 meters above the Zeta Valley in central region of Montenegro.
