Overviw
Trebinje, known as the “Town of sunshine”, located in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina dates from the 12th century and it is one of the most beautiful towns in the country.
It is known for its recognizable Old Town on the banks of the River Trebisnjica, (rich in cultural and historical monuments, such as walls with cannons, the Clock tower from the 18th century, the Osman Pasha mosque from the 18th century), the Poets’ Square (with plane trees, aged over 120 years, shops and restaurants) and religious objects, among which the most notable Monastery complex Herzegovinian Gracanica and Tvrdos Monastery.
